A Toolkit for greater self-awareness
Yesterday I promised that I would share the resources that helped me to become a more self-aware person. This post has not been sponsored. I genuinely recommend these resources after having benefited from them myself.
In no particular order:
Cure for the Common Life by Max Lucado
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
The Own Your Story Workshop and Journal by Kikki K
Sacred in the City by Margaret Silf
The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin
Feel Good podcast with Kimberly Snyder
Resources that are on my list for 2019:
The Element: How Finding your Passion Changes Everything by Ken Robinson and Lou Aronica
The Conscious Parent by Dr. Shefali Tsabary
How to See Yourself As You Really Are by His Holiness the Dalai Lama
Quiet by Susan Cain
As many books as I can read by Brené Brown
The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware
Find Your Why by Simon Sinek
Above all, the most helpful exercise for growing in self-awareness, for me, was seeing a counsellor/therapist for a solid two years. There is nothing like having a psychologist asking you question after question (the right questions) to help you delve deeper and get to the bottom of things.
I would love for you to add to this list. Please share below in the comments section.
